Biography
Creighton Brown (he/him) serves as Student Experience Manager in the Center for Community and Civic Engagement at Carleton College and as Contributing and Social Media Editor for Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies. He also sits on the Board for Pride Collective and Community Center in Fargo-Moorhead. Previously, Creighton coordinated Inclusion Initiatives and LGBTQ+ Programs at North Dakota State University, and taught literature, writing, and research courses exploring social and environmental justice at the Universities of North Dakota and Kansas. While at the University of Kansas, he served as production researcher on an Emmy-winning film for the Kansas City Public Library. Creighton lives, writes, and dog walks in Northfield, MN, the traditional lands of the Wahpekute.
